Overcoming Fear
June 18, 2007 07:37 AM PDT

April 23, 2007 12:26 PM PDT
A trait I find in disciples throughout scripture is the recognition of being in desperate need of mercy. This sermon is about mercy. The first part is our pulpit minister, Bill Brumit, presenting a Bible to a couple and their new baby girl. I preach right after he presents the Bible. 4/22/2007 From Reconciled to Reconcilers
March 19, 2007 07:37 AM PDT
Lee (the youth minister) and I had the opportunity to preach a sermon together. We work well together and have done this in the past. We were both convicted by Paul's message of reconciliation, in particular his call that we take up the ministry of reconciliation. The text is 2 Corinthians 5:17-19. December 05, 2006 07:42 AM PST
Jesus knows the old saying, "You are what you eat." He knows it is true and he tells his disciples that in order to have life they must eat his flesh and drink his blood. What in the world does that mean and how can we do it? This sermon was preached 12-3-06. The sound quality is not the best. I hope it doesn't distract you from listening. Praying for a Better Tomorrow
October 31, 2006 05:50 AM PST
Do you ever get tired of praying for yourself all the time? I call those prayers "Me Prayers." I pray those a lot.

August 21, 2006 07:09 AM PDT
Have you ever wandered if your baptism "took"? Have you ever wandered why you don't feel the same now as you did when you were baptized? Hopefully this sermon will help you to understand the baptized life a little better. This sermon was preached 8/13/2006. Do You Know Me?
August 07, 2006 11:26 AM PDT
There is something deep inside all of us that causes us to want to be known for who we really are, and yet we all have our mask that we wear. If there is one thing I could suggest that we do in order to have healthier relationships it would be for all of us to take off our mask. True Friendship
August 07, 2006 11:07 AM PDT
This sermon addresses the question, "What are the qualities of a true friendship?" What are the things that keeps friendships from falling apart? This is a short sermon that was preached during the evening service on August 6th. What Business Are You In?
June 27, 2006 06:15 AM PDT
There is a great line in the movie, Radio, that says, "It is never a mistake to care for someone." In this particular text Jesus asks, "Which is lawful on the Sabbath: to do good or to do evil, to save life or kill?" If Jesus were to answer his own question I believe he would have said something very similar to the famous line in Radio. This sermon was preached as part of the Encounters with Jesus series on June 25th, 2006. The Triumphal Procession
May 09, 2006 08:47 AM PDT
What does Paul mean when he writes that we are led in triumphal procession (2 Corinthians 2:14)? In the middle of this sermon I had someone handcuff me and I proceeded to preach the rest of the sermon handcuffed. This is a short sermon that was preached 5/7/2006 during the evening service. Touching the Untouchable
May 09, 2006 08:35 AM PDT
This is the first sermon of a series that all of our ministers are preaching called Encounters with Jesus. The clip I showed during the sermon was from Jeff Walling's one man drama about Matthew. April 25, 2006 11:19 AM PDT
"Merely being a spectator will never compare with the thrills and chills of getting in the middle of the action." This sermon is about serving in the church, and in the process I try to get our minds back to a healthier understanding of church. Facing It Alone

About Gilbert KerriganI'm the Involvement Minister for Greenwood Park Church of Christ in Bowling Green, KY. I enjoy preaching and teaching, and I am able to get behind the pulpit about once a month. I say "behind the pulpit" but really I don't like being stuck behind that thing. I like to walk around the stage as I preach. Favorite LinksContact MeSubscribe to this Podcast![]() |
